SUNWILLOW MARES AND FILLIES

Our grand old mare, Sunwillow Valbella, first foal out of Sunwillow Quest, she was sold as a foal and we bought her back in 2002. She has bred many winners including silver medal winner Bryntowy Vacha and bronze medal winner Sunwillow Karara.

SUNWILLOW VALBELLA, bay mare born 1988		Click on image for larger view

Sunwillow Dido, seen here as a three year old, won and placed at top shows, including 1st at the West Midland Stallion Show and 1st and Reserve Champion at Kent County. As a brood mare she is prooving invaluable.

2000 S.Holbrook by Blackhill Picalo, sold as a gelding being ridden and has been seen in Harness amongst army surroundings in London!
2001 S.Imogen by Heniarth Quip, filly sold, a winner and 3rd at the Royal Welsh in the yearling filly class 2002.
2002 S.Jubilee by Heniarth Quip, colt, sold as a foal, a supreme champion and a 1st at the Royal Welsh as a 3 year old and did very well when shown under saddle.
2003 S. Kinglake by Pendock Legend, colt, sold as a foal and exported to Ireland and a winner at County shows in England when a 3 year old and doing very well as a stallion.
2004 empty.
2005 S. Mimosa by Sunwillow Galong, filly, lightly shown and never out of the ribbons, retained (see below).
2006 empty.
2007 S. Odessyus by Idyllic Entrepreneur, colt, sold as a foal to Aiden O'Leary, Eire.
2008 S.Paris by Dukeshill Magnum, colt, retained see foals 2008.

Sunwillow Karara, a little star, one of the nicest natured ponies I have ever come across. In 2007 she had a filly by Sunwillow Jubilee (see below). Shown 3 times by Lynda Calcutt in 2008, as a 5 year old barren mare and was 1st at the Norse Summer Medal Show, 0 at the Royal Welsh and 1st, Champion and Reserve Supreme at Orsett Agricultural Show, winning a Bronze medal. She has just been scanned in foal to Sunwillow Cassius, full brother to Sunwillow Dido, see his breeding above.

Sunwillow Mimosa daughter of Sunwillow Galong,seen here as a yearling. She was only shown 4 times in 2006 and never out of the rosettes, she was 2nd at Suffolk County and South of England Shows. A lovely free moving filly we believe she will make a stunning mare.

Sunwillow Odesa, out of Sunwillow Valbella, by Sunwillow Jubilee. Shown once this season 2008, and was 4th at the Eastern Welsh Summer Show.

Sunwillow Orphir, a first foal out of Sunwillow Karara, by Sunwillow Jubilee. Shown 3 times during the early season 2008, and was 6th at the Eastern Welsh Spring Show, 3rd at Unex Towerlands Inhand Welsh Medal Show and 2nd at the Norse Welsh Pony and Cob Association Spring Show.
